AMERICAN SYNDICATION SCHEDULE

Twentieth Television, the United States syndication distributor of The Simpsons, terminated its "barter" scheduling of the series in 1999. Accordingly, stations showing the series in syndication now possess full control over local scheduling, making national listings a thing of the past.

Regrettably, we cannot provide listings for the hundreds of stations now independently programming the syndicated airings in their local markets. Fans should instead refer to online television listings services such as Zap2it, Yahoo or TV Guide for local information. For a handy list of syndication stations in the United States and Canada, also see Ben Tegarden's Syndication Stations and Times reference guide.

INTERNATIONAL SCHEDULING

Scheduling information for international broadcasters is available from the following web sites. If you know of any international scheduling data on the internet that has been overlooked here, send e-mail.
Please send e-mail only if you know of a web page that has the actual scheduling information for episodes. Do not simply include the address of the network's home page.
This is not intended to be a list of every network in the world that shows The Simpsons - just a list of the sites that list their upcoming episodes.

UNSCHEDULED EPISODES ON FOX

These episodes will be part of the twentieth season. Some listed air dates may change due to unforseen circumstances.

KABF15 - Lost Verizon - Written by John Frink - Airdate: October 5th, 2008
In order to save up money to buy a cell phone, Bart takes a job at a country club retrieving golf balls. While at the course, Bart watches celebrities, including Dennis Leary (guest-starring as himself) playing a round. When Leary's cell phone rings just as he is about to take a swing, he furiously throws the phone in the air and it lands right next to Bart. Bart decides to keep the cell and makes prank calls to all over the world pretending to be Leary. He even accepts a job offer from famed producer Brian Grazer (also guesting as himself) to star in the film version of "Everyone Poops." When Marge discovers what Bart has been up to, she confiscates the device and calls Leary to return the phone. But Leary has a better idea, and instructs Marge to activate the GPS system on the phone so she can track Bart's every move. Bart quickly catches on and devises a plan that sends the family on a wild goose chase all the way to Machu Picchu.

KABF14 - Double, Double, Boy in Trouble - Written by Bill Odenkirk - Airdate: [TBD]

The cold opening will be election-oriented, and two of the main terrifying tales will include: a parody of the Schultz Peanuts' Charlie Brown classic, alternately titled "It's a Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse", as well as another segment parodying Transformers (in which Bart's 99 cent Transformer toy leads an attack by the robots in disguise).

LABF1? - [Episode title unknown] - Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg - Airdate: [TBD]
Comic Book Guy creates a super hero, which gets turned into feature film, with Homer playing the hero. Seth Rogen (guesting) plays his personal trainer. Homer gets into great shape, but then the movie is over and he can't afford the personal trainer anymore and his life becomes hell.

Additional notes:

Other guest stars this season include Merl Reagle, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Marv Albert. There is also an unconfirmed December episode, with guest stars Jeff Bezos (CEO of Amazon.com) and Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavericks owner), where Mr. Burns wins a basketball team in a poker game. This episode will also have something to do with bee sanctuaries.

LABF1? - Treehouse of Horror XX - Airdate: November 2009
This episode will be part of season 21, and so far we know one segment will be a send-up of modern day zombie movies, such as 28 Days Later. Although, in this case, the "zombies" are actually just the victims of Krusty Burger's latest sandwich.

If you are aware of additional details for episodes presently in development (such as synopses revealed in magazines, newspapers, or otherwise), feel free to drop us a line.
